We love our children. They are treasures entrusted to us by God, and here at SLBC we are serious about discipling our children to know God and love him.
Sunday Mornings
SUNDAY SCHOOL

Children (grades K through 5th) meet in the Hankins Family LIfe Center
CHILDREN'S CHURCH
10AM-11AM
Children (grades K through 5th) worship with the adults during the music portion of our main worship service, and then they are prayed over and dismissed to be taught and discipled in Children's Church.
For the safety of all the children entrusted to us, we have a check-in system to ensure that the same, or authorized, adult who dropped a child off picks them up. We also have a security team on duty during all events with children on the premises.
AWANA is a nondenominational children's ministry committed to "reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Jesus Christ and training them to serve Him."
We will be starting up AWANA on September 3, 2025 for a full year (Fall Semester and Spring Semester) of AWANA.
In storytime, children are challenged by our teachers with stories from the bible and the practical ways that they can be applied to our lives. During Game Time, children play games that engage them in competition and comradery.
In Handbook Time, children are challenged to memorize bible verses and apply them to their lives.
A one-time fee of $25 is due at registration (covers all books, & awards) AWANA dues can be paid during registration.

Mark your calendars for July 13 - 17, 2025 (6:00-8:30 pm) and invite your friends to VBS at SLBC 2025.
VBS at SLBC is available for children Pre K(age 4 by 7/1/25- potty trained) through just finished 5th graders. (Please select the grade your child just finished when registering).
